A denture is a removable appliance made of acrylic and sometimes in combination with various metals.

There are two types of dentures:-

Complete Dentures

When a patient is missing all their natural teeth, full (complete) dentures are constructed to allow chewing function as well as for a natural, beautiful smile. Our dentists have constructed many dentures for patients all over Ipswich and we only use local Ipswich dental laboratories in our denture fabrication, ensuring an extremely high quality finished product. We also construct immediate dentures which can either be full dentures or partial dentures.

An immediate denture, as the name implies, means that upon extraction of a patient’s remaining teeth, the denture is inserted immediately ensuring our patients do not have to go a single day without teeth. Many of our Ipswich based patients work in jobs that are not conducive to going without teeth for any length of time and our dentists have provided this treatment to ensure you can continue with your everyday lives.

Partial Dentures

When some of your teeth are missing, a partial denture can be constructed to fill in the gaps between the remaining teeth. Partial dentures can be made of acrylic or chrome. The advantage to retaining some of your own natural teeth is that partial dentures are generally much easier to wear than full dentures as retention is obtained from existing teeth.

Our dentists have been servicing the denture needs of the Ipswich community for many years. If you or a family member has missing teeth that you would like replaced, do not hesitate to contact our friendly staff on 3202 4566 to book your denture consultation today!
